The event will consist of a General Session and breakouts. Registration will begin at 11 am on 02/23/2015, with the General Session starting at 1:30 pm and the workshop will end Tuesday, 02/24/2015 at 4:00 pm. The General Session speakers will cover NCDOT Strategic Transportation Initiative and the State Funding Forecast for Highways by NCDOT Deputy Secretary Nick Tennyson, Federal Funding Forecast and Every Day Counts update by FHWA NC Division Administrator John Sullivan and an update from Chief Engineer Mike Holder on the planning, measuring and reporting of the Highway Fund. The event will also include breakout sessions with NCDOT and industry presenters covering Construction, Materials, Innovation in Asphalt Pavement and Pavement Preservation. Attendees from NCDOT will include Central Office Unit Heads, Division Engineers, Construction Engineers, Resident Engineers, District Engineers and other construction related staff.
